I went home, took an astronomy class and later started hunting Northern Lights, which got me curious about what else happens around the world after dark."

"I think of it as a city letting its hair down – it"s more relaxed. I"ve also done night safaris, where it"s more about listening than just seeing, and I"ve seen water sparkling with bioluminescence, which looks like magic. Everything at night has a little extra sparkle."
